…Forever seeing, but never perceiving…A call to spiritual maturity.
(Matthew 13:10-17) The Parable of the Sower;
10And when he was alone, they that were about him with the twelve asked of him the parable. 11And he said unto them, Unto you it is given to know the mystery of the kingdom of God: but unto them that are without, all these things are done in parables: 12That seeing they may see, and not perceive; and hearing they may hear, and not understand; lest at any time they should be converted, and their sins should be forgiven them.
Today, all around us many things are taking place according to Scripture as been prophesied and yet many of us that belong to the house of God have refused to see beyond the master illusionist (Satan) plans; lies and spiritual deceptions. I don’t doubt that many of us know what it means to walk by faith and not by sight, or actually see what is taking place before our very eyes, however, I do believe that many of us refuse to exercise that faith in which we have; to wake up that dormant spirit within us and truly step out on the limb of walking IN faith, moving the necessary mountains that stands in the way of our path. I’m guilty of such unbelief at times, forgive me. We know that those that are placed in a position of Pastors, Preachers, Ministers, Teachers, and Leadership, are most accountable for what we know, teach and share according to God’s Word to those in need to be fed. Paul had to remind Timothy; “Wherefore I put thee in remembrance that thou stir up the gift of God, which is in thee by the putting on of my hands.” We often need to be reminded that we too have to constantly stir up the Spirit within us or we could lose sight in an instant by the cunningness of that “grand deceiver”. For centuries he’s done his homework and cleverly studied everything about humanity; weaknesses, desires, strengths, passions, etc… and has often succeeded at his plans when a child of the most high God is found sleeping…he doesn’t get tired, however neither does our Lord who watches over us, but we have to do our part as well. Now, having said that I give you Hebrews 5; “For when for the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have need that one teach you again which be the first principles of the oracles of God; and are become such as have need of milk, and not of strong meat. For every one that useth milk is unskilful in the word of righteousness: for he is a babe. But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.”
There is no doubt that we are living Biblical Prophecy and signs of the times. It is time that we mature in our walk of faith, not that many of you haven’t already and praise God, but those that are due let us move forward on a steady course prayerfully, awake and alert to all that is taking place around us and be not of or like the “world”, forever seeing and never perceiving as the enemy would have them; For the mysteries of God has been given to the household of God…that is Christ in you. One body, One heart, One mind and Spirit that is in all and works through all, for the glory of God. Amen. Be ready at all times to give testimony of your faith that you claim in Christ Jesus and stand therefore. May the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob protect, watch over and keep you. Remember…the enemy is not worried about a believer in fact he encourages you to believe. He’s worried about a believer that knows who they really are in Christ and no longer sleeps. Amen and God bless.
REMEMBER!!! Go take a peek at the novel if you haven’t yet. “Battlefield of Angels” It’s a glimpse at spiritual warfare around us and rate this. Though fictional in content many of the events are realand a shadow of my life.
