Let’s face it, being human we tend to waver back and forth in our faith, since our faith isn’t perfected as of yet, we stumble, fall, get up and try again. Most of us have grown up hearing the phrase “I’ll believe it when I see it.” The doubting Thomas syndrome…, however, just as he doubted the Lord was listening and showed him the piercings that he may believe and stop doubting. In such a troubling world today, the enemy is so crafty and has so many tools at his disposal to cause us to doubt, fear, and tremble at the sight trouble. But rejoice! For the Spirit of God is upon you and the enemy wants nothing more than to separate us from God and destroy us completely…believe that. Many are searching for “something” to believe in, “something to make sense out of and hold on to, but we who are of the house of God stand rooted in our Lord. Let us therefore shake the doubting Thomas syndrome today and constantly remind ourselves that; “Now faith is bring sure of what we hope for, and certain of what we do not see.” Hebrews 11:1. Remember the healing of the demon in the boy? Mark 9:23-24; 23And Jesus said to him, “‘If You can?’ All things are possible to him who believes.”24Immediately the boy’s father cried out and said, “I do believe; help my unbelief.” He believed, yet he knew something was missing…that divine touch that only comes from our Lord. Whether we believe it or not, heaven, watches, sees, and hears and our Lord loves us so much, that he is patient even in our stumbling and sends that touch to increase that lack of faith, that we may hold on as we are being refined. So, I pray this day: “Father, for everyone reading this and those who are in need of your touch to increase that lack of faith receive it in Jesus name. That we may be strengthened as a body unwavering that pleases you. You know every concern, doubt, fear, worry and trouble that we face. Your word says; “Ask and we shall receive.”, so I thank you that our voices have been heard and it has been granted in Jesus name according to your will. Bless them and protect them as they go throughout their day.” Amen.
“But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.” Hebrews 11:6
