I’m pretty sure at one time or another we’ve found ourselves in the mist of some not so pleasant conversations about people around us whether in the community, church, social events or gathering and the like. This is not uncommon, however, I’ve also wondered whether this kind of talk was somewhat a poor reflection of what we see in ourselves that causes us to entertain such conversations that may hurt or look down on others. The Apostle Paul made something very clear in Romans 12:4 that; ” Just as each of us have one body with many members and these members do not all have the same function, so in Christ we who are many form one body and each member belongs to the other.” Regardless of our race, creed or color, there is something so beautiful that connects us as one heart, one mind, and one body beneath the surface of what we see…the Spirit of God. And one part of that same body depends on the other. Let’s keep that truth in mind as we as many members move forward in faith and love. God bless you.
