All of us face opposition at on point or another in our lives, some more than others and some even on a consistent bases as if it will never let up. This could leave us repeating the very words of our Lord…”My God…My God. Why has thou forsaken me?” We live in a world where the enemy is always closing in for the kill. Waiting for the right opportunity to strike. In these moments we MUST not panic, not to say we’re in any form superhuman, but when we stop and consider our great forefathers of faith like when a problem appears to be bigger than us as David faced Goliath, or we’ve fallen so deep into debt or a difficult situation as Jonah in the belly of the fish, or when disaster strikes all around us as it did with Job in one day. We MUST know without a shadow of a doubt that there is a God and Father in heaven that has each and everyone of us as the apple of his eye and WILL NOT give us more than we can bare. That hears our cry no matter how far we’ve fallen and in the right moment gives us that strength through our Lord and savior to look the enemy in the eye without fear and know within our heart “If God is for us, who could be against us.” Stand firm in your faith and trust that our Lord has you in the palm of his hand and nothing that rises against you shall touch God’s anointed.
